Decem Zine

2019

Decem is a zine that was created based on the concept of “top ten” lists. This refers to how social media created a society that is so fast paced, and how everything has to be easily accessible and low effort, hence the presence of these lists. 

The first issue of this zine explores the different perceptions of money and its personal meaning to different individuals. I wanted to create a zine that would combine handwritten and online statements that described different individuals’ definitions of money. Conceptually, I was inspired by collage art to communicate the melange of digital and handwritten statements throughout the zine.
