Plumo Typeface

This typeface was inspired by calligraphy pen nibs and came to life by creating a hybrid between a serif and display type. Plumo was born from merging the complex curves and shapes found in the anatomy of a fountain pen nib and the elegance of a serif type. The attractiveness of a serif typeface with its varying weights also parallels with the sharp, yet delicate lettering produced by a fountain pen in the art of calligraphy.
